Rabbi Shoshanah Tornberg,
Director of Education and Lifelong Learning
Rabbi Shoshanah Tornberg joined Or Ami as our Director of Education and Lifelong Learning on July 1, 2012 after her cross country journey from her home in Sacramento, California. Rabbi Tornberg has held positions in Jewish Education and as a Rabbi for many years. She brings her vast experience and knowledge working with students of all ages and learning abilities, as well as her pulpit and lifecycle experience. She attended Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Rabbi Tornberg looks forward to joining a community where she can grow “meaningful relationships, strengthen connections to Jewish life, stimulate the community’s growth and learning, and further the repair of the world through acts of tikkun olam”. Throughout the summer and early Fall there will be “Meet and Greets” and other events to introduce Rabbi Tornberg into our community. Make sure to check your newsletter and e-mail for details.
